Subject:	Executive Memorandum 06-03, Approval for Center for Entrepreneurship

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the establishment of the Center for Entrepreneurship, effective fall 2005, and deletion of the Small Business Institute, which the new Center replaces.

The Center for Entrepreneurship will be housed within the College of Business. The Center's purpose is to facilitate entrepreneurial activity in the University's 12-county service area of Northern California. Additional information is available at the Center's web site (http://www.chicocfe.com/).
