Subject:	Executive Memorandum 06-07, Approval for a New Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a new Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), within the Department of Education, College of Communication and Education, effective spring 2006. The number of units required for the certificate will be 18 units.
