Subject:	Executive Memorandum 06-24, Approval for a New Option in Physical Science Education

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a new Option in Physical Science Education within the BS in Geosciences (reporting code: 19172), Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences, College of Natural Sciences, effective fall 2007. Total number of units required for the option will be 41 48 units (revised 10-9-06). The new option has been assigned reporting code number 19011.
