Executive Memorandum 06-26, Approval for the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences |
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve a reorganization within the College of Natural Sciences: the Program in Nutrition and Food Sciences, currently housed within the Department of Biological Sciences, will become the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences.
The Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences will be administered by a department chair and include the following academic programs:
BS in Nutrition and Food Science
MS in Nutritional Science
Minor in Nutrition
Minor in Food Services Administration
This organizational change is effective fall 2007.
