Subject: Executive Memorandum 06-63, Approval for Minor Changes to the BA in Communication Studies

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the BA in Communication Studies, Department of Communication Arts and Sciences, College of Communication and Education. The Option in Organizational Communication will change from 24 units to 15 units, the Option in Communication and Public Affairs (formerly Human Communication ref. EM 06-11) will change from 27 units to 15 units, and the major core will change from 18 units to 30 units. The total number of units required for the major will change from 42-45 units to 45 units. These changes are effective fall 2007.
