for Significant Changes to the BS in Microbiology
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve significant changes to the BS in Microbiology, Department of Biological Sciences, College of Natural Sciences, effective fall 2007. The Core will change from 32 units to 56 units, the Option in Clinical Laboratory Science will change from 38 units to 22 units, and the Option in General Microbiology will change from 38 units to 22 units. Total number of units required for the major will change from 70 units to 78 units.
