Subject: Executive Memorandum 07-05,  Approval for Center for the Corporate Governance and Values-Based Leadership

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and with the concurrence of the Provost, I approve the establishment of the Center for Corporate Governance and Values-Based Leadership, effective spring 2007.

The Center for Corporate Governance and Values-Based Leadership will be housed within the College of Business. The Center's purpose is to encourage the efficient use of organizational and societal resources and to inspire current and future leaders of business organizations to be accountable for the stewardship of those resources as well as to challenge them to incorporate values into the daily decisions they make.
