Subject: Executive Memorandum 08-39, Approval to Change Name from Rural and Town Planning Option to Environmental Policy and Planning Option

Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and the Provost, I approve a name change to the Rural and Town Planning Option within the MA in Geography, Department of Geography, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. Effective fall 2009, the program's name will be Environmental Policy and Planning Option.
