Subject: Executive Memorandum 08-42,  Approval for Minor Changes to Programs in the Department of Geography and Planning

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the programs listed below within the Department of Geography and Planning, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences effective fall 2009.

• The Option in Geography (within the MA in Geography)

Course requirement changes will not change the 30 units required for the MA.

• The Option in Rural and Town Planning (within the MA in Geography)

Course requirement changes will not change the 30 units required for the MA. Note: The Option in Rural and Town Planning will also have a name change to Option in Environmental Policy and Planning effective fall 2009.
