Subject: Executive Memorandum 08-49,  Approval for Minor Changes to Programs in Interdisciplinary and International Academic Programs

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the programs listed below within Interdisciplinary and International Academic Programs, School of Graduate, International, and Interdisciplinary Studies effective fall 2009.

• The MA in Teaching International Languages

  Course requirement changes will not change the 36 units required for the MA.

• The BA in Asian Studies

  Course requirement changes will change the required units for the major from 30 units to 30-32 units.

• The Minor in Middle Eastern Studies

  Course requirement changes will change the required units for the minor from 21 units to 21-23 units.
