Subject: Executive Memorandum 09-03, Approval for a New Option: Professional Science Master (PSM) Option within the Master of Science in Environmental Science
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate, the concurrence of the Provost, and Chancellor's Office authorization, I approve a new Professional Science Master (PSM) Option within the MS in Environmental Science, Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences, College of Natural Sciences. Official implementation of the program was authorized for fall 2008. The number of units required for the option will be 36 units. The new option has been assigned reporting code number 49011, the same as the degree reporting code number.
