Subject: Executive Memorandum 09-12, Approval of New BA in Chemistry
Upon the recommendation of the Academic Senate and the Provost, and with the approval of the Chancellor's Office, I approve a new BA in Chemistry within the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, College of Natural Sciences, effective fall 2009. The new major will require 58-64 units; the number of units required for the BA will be 120 units. The BA in Chemistry has been assigned reporting code 15091, the same reporting code that the BS in Chemistry will continue to use.
