Subject:	Approval for Change to BA in Humanities and to Minor in Classical Civilization

The proposed modifications to the BA in Humanities and to the minor in Classical Civilization are approved for implementation effective fall 1989. The two changes, which do not affect the total required units, include:

1. For the BA in Humanities, changing the courses listed under the Classical Era thematic area and the History subject area:
   1. Add HIST 204A, Roman History, 3 units
   2. Add HIST 204B, Roman History, 3 units
   3. Delete HIST 204, Rise of Rome, 3 units
2. For the minor in Classical Civilization, changing the courses listed under the "9 units selected from":
   1. Add HIST 203, Classical Greece, 3 units
   2. Add HIST 204A, Roman History, 3 units
   3. Add HIST 204B, Roman History, 3 units
   4. Delete HIST 204, Rise of Rome, 3 units
