Subject:	Honors in the Major Program for Nursing

After review of the proposal submitted for Honors in the Major and upon the recommendation of the University Honors Director, I authorize the Nursing program to award University Honors in the Major. Designation of "University Honors in the Major" for this program may be placed on student transcripts effective spring 1988.
