Subject:	Approval for Changes to BA in History

The proposed changes to the BA in History are approved for implementation effective fall 1989. These changes, which do not affect the total number of required units, include:

1. Adding HIST 179, Southeast Asian History and Culture, to the selection of courses listed under the Far East category;
2. Adding HIST 204A and HIST 204B, Roman History, to the selection of courses listed under the European History category;
3. Deleting HIST 204, Rise of Rome, from the selection of courses listed under the European History category.
