Subject:	Approval for Changes to BA in Religious Studies

The proposed modifications to the BA in Religious Studies are approved for implementation effective fall 1989. The changes, which do not affect the total number of units required for the degree, include:

1. Adding the following courses to the "3 units selected from" portion of the program:

   RS 280C, Seminar in Religious Studies, 3 units

   RS 280D, Seminar in Religious Studies, 3 units

   RS 281C, Seminar in Eastern Religions, 3 units

   RS 281D, Seminar in Eastern Religions, 3 units

RS 299H, Senior Honors Research, 3 units

2. Adding the following courses to the "21 units selected from" portion of the program:

   RS 055, Learning and Values, 3 units

   RS 098, Special Topics, 3 units

   RS 132, Evangelism, 3 units

   RS 198, Special Topics, 3 units

Plus the courses listed under the "3 units selected from" section of the program.
