Approval for Changes to the Minor in Physics

The proposed revisions to the minor in Physics are approved effective fall 1989. The revised program is eight units more than the current program and is listed below.

Course Requirements for the Minor: 29 units

26 units required:
MATH 007A	Analytic Geometry and Calculus	4 units
MATH 007B	Analytic Geometry and Calculus	4 units
PHYS 004A	Physics for Students of Science and Engineering: Mechanics	4 units
PHYS 004C	Physics for Students of Science and Engineering: Electricity and Magnetism	4 units
PHYS 200A	Modern Physics I	3 units
PHYS 200B	Modern Physics II	3 units
3 units selected from:
Any upper-division Physics courses.
