Subject:	Approval for Revisions to BS in Home Economics

The proposed revisions to the BS in Home Economics are approved for implementation effective fall 1989. The changes, which increase the total number of required units from 53-72 to 53-76, include:

Option Core: Add ECON 002, Principles of Macroeconomic Analysis (3 units), and ECON 003, Principles of Microeconomic Analysis (3 units)

Fashion Merchandising Pattern: Delete ECON 002 and MKTG 275, Retailing (3 units)

Textiles Pattern: Delete ECON 002 and MKTG 275

Apparel Design Pattern: No deletions
