I approve the proposed revisions to the BS in Nursing for implementation effective fall 1991 with the exception of the change of units for NURS 083 which will be effective fall 1989. The revisions include:

The addition of

NURS 163 Nursing Care of the Gerontology Patient 1 unit
NURS 164 Practicum in Gerontological Nursing 1.5 units

The deletion of

NURS 173S Nursing Foundations 1 unit

Change of units for

NURS 083 Nursing Foundations 4 units
(previously five units)
NURS 174 Practicum in Community Health Nursing 2.5 units
(previously 3 units)
