Subject:	Executive Memorandum 89-21, Approval for Honors in the Major Program for Physical Education

The proposed Honors in the Major program for Physical Education has been reviewed by the Department of Physical Education, the College of Education, the Director of the Honors Program, and the Vice Provost and was approved by the Provost. I approve implementation of this program effective fall 1989.

Designation of "University Honors in the Major" for this program may be placed on student transcripts effective academic year 1989-90.
