Subject:	Executive Memorandum 92-30, Revisions to the BA in Religious Studies

Upon the recommendation of the Faculty Senate and the Provost, I approve changes to the BA in Religious Studies, effective fall 1993. Total units required for the BA will increase from 30 to 36 to include a methods course and a course that explores the interplay between religion and ethnicity in America. The structure of the major has been modified substantially and allows students to focus on a particular area and to explore eastern and western religions.
