Subject:	Executive Memorandum 92-46, Revisions to Social Science Single Subject Matter Preparation Program

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor revisions to the Social Science Single Subject Matter Preparation Program. The courses have been reorganized to more closely match the organization of the Social Science major. In order to meet Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements, POLS 272, The Political Executive, and POLS 273, Legislative Process and Behavior, have been added in one set of electives. POLS 274, Congress and the Executive, has been deleted as a selection. GEOG 217, Field Techniques, has been substituted for GEOG 109, Geography Research and Writing. These revisions will be effective fall 1993.
