University Studies Associate Degree Transfer Program

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve the University Studies Associate Degree Transfer Program. This program was developed with our six service area community colleges (Butte, Feather River, Lassen, Shasta, Yuba, and College of the Siskiyous). The program specifies that CSU, Chico will accept a certification of completion as assurance that the transferring student has met all admissions, lower-division general education, cultural diversity, mathematics competency, lower-division writing competency, and U.S. History, Constitution, and American Ideals requirements for CSU, Chico. Students who transfer with certified completion of the University Studies Associate Degree may double count the courses used to fulfill the U.S. History, Constitution, and American Ideals requirement in the lower- division general education requirement at CSU, Chico.
