Minor Changes to the Theatre Arts Core and Advising Patterns

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve the deletion of THEA 61 (Introduction to Theatre) from the Core and the addition of both THEA 163 (Costume Performance) and THEA 173 (Technical Theatre Performance) to the Core. This reduces the number of required units from 30 to 29.

The required units in the Advising Patterns will increase from 10 to 13-14 units. The units to be selected will be reduced from 10 to 7-8 units. The number of units in the major will remain the same at 50. The changes will be effective fall 1997.
