Minor Changes to the BA in Music Minor in Recording Arts

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the BA in Music, Minor in Recording Arts, in the Department of Music within the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. MUS 006A will change to MUS 006 (Listening and Understanding) and MUS 006B will be deleted. MUS 019 (Aural Acuity for RA) will be added as a required course in the Minor. MUS 207 (Sound Reinforcement) will be added to the 3-unit selection menu. The required units for the minor remain unchanged at 23. These changes are effective fall 1997.
