Subject:	Executive Memorandum 96-27: Minor Revisions to the Minor in Music

Minor Revisions to the Minor in Music

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor changes to the Minor in Music in the Department of Music within the College of Humanities and Fine Arts. Course units for MUS 001A (Theory I) and MUS 001B (Theory II) will be reduced from 4 units to 3 units. MUS 008 (Computer Literacy for Musicians) will be added to the minor. The total number of course requirements for the Minor in Music will now be 25 units. These changes are effective fall 1997.
