Subject:	Executive Memorandum 96-96: Major Revisions to the Option in Visual Communication Graphic Design Pattern

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve major changes to the Graphic Design Pattern in the Visual Communication Option within the BA in Communication Design in the Department of Communication Design within the College of Communication and Education, effective fall 1997. The total number of units required for the Pattern has been increased from 37 units to 40 units.
