Subject:	Executive Memorandum 97-08, Minor Revisions to the BS in Mathematics - Applied Mathematics Option

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor revisions to the BS in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics Option, in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics within the College of Natural Sciences, effective fall 1997. The number of units required for the Option has decreased from 49-52 units to 43-46 units. The total number of units required for the BS has changed from 46-76 units to 48-70 units.
