Subject:	Executive Memorandum 97-15, New Option in Science Education with a Concentration in Geosciences in the BS in Geosciences

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve the addition of the Option in Science Education with a Concentration in Geosciences in the BS in Geosciences in the Department of Geosciences within the College of Natural Sciences, effective fall 1997. The total number of units required for the Option will be 69. The number of units required for the major will be 59-85.
