Subject:	Executive Memorandum 98-08, Policy on Financial Aid Associated With Mandatory Fees

Executive Order No. 661 requires that an amount equal to one-third of the revenue resulting from an increase in campus mandatory fees be set aside for financial aid. This additional amount is included in the new mandatory fee.

At the direction of the President of the University, the Office of Financial Aid will administer the fee-related financial aid. Recommendations for particular programmatic uses of this financial aid may be made through the Office of Financial Aid with the ultimate decision by the President of the University.
