Subject:	Executive Memorandum 98-86, Minor Revisions to Option in Science Education with a Concentration in Geosciences

Upon the recommendation of the Provost, I approve minor revisions to the Option in Science Education with a Concentration in Geosciences within the BS in Geosciences in the Department of Geosciences, College of Natural Sciences. The number of units required for the option has changed from 69 units to 48 units. The total number of units required for the major has changed from 59-85 units to 46-72 units. These changes are effective fall 1999
