Subject:	Executive Memorandum 99-22, New BA in Musical Theatre

The proposed Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre was recommended for approval by the Academic Senate (ref. AS 98/14) and the Provost and was approved by the Chancellor's Office and by CPEC. I approve implementation of this degree, administered by the Department of Theatre Arts within the College of Humanities and Fine Arts, effective fall 1999. The total number of units required for the BA will be 60. The degree will report using HEGIS code number 10073.
