Subject:	Executive Memorandum 99-31, Approval of General Education Course: SOCI/MCGS 152, Area D3

Following review by the General Studies Advisory Committee and the recommendation of the Provost, I approve experimental General Education (GE) status for SOCI/MCGS 152, Ethnic and Race Relations. The course is also approved for Ethnic status.

GE and Ethnic status for the course will be effective spring 2000 and continue through the next normal review of Area D courses in academic year 2000-2001.
