Community Action Summit

On Friday, February 22, 2013, 400 community members came together on the campus of California State University, Chico to express their views on the issues of alcohol and drugs in our community.  This group included parents, teachers, nurses, bar owners, bartenders, editors, publishers, property owners, bankers, elected officials, drug counselors, therapists, social workers, artists, advocates for the poor and homeless, recovering addicts, police officers, pastors, professors, administrators and, most of all, students – 150 of them.

There were over 50 ideas presented for small group discussion, and the notes on those topics are posted here.
