Stephanie Alward
Stephanie Alward is from Cottonwood, California. She was active in cross country and track and field throughout high school and was assistant sports editor on the journalism staff as a senior. She received the School Scholar/Athlete award and was on the Principal’s List all four years of high school. She was school valedictorian for three years.
Stephanie plans to major in psychology at CSU, Chico.
Evan Brown
Evan Brown is from Yuba City, California. He received the Yuba City High School Academic Achievement Award and was honored by the California Scholarship Federation all four years of high school. He was also on the National Honor Roll during his senior year.
Evan plans to major in one of the natural sciences at CSU, Chico.Anna Eicholtz
Anna Eicholtz from Red Bluff, California served on various committees in Student Government during high school, including vice president her senior year, and was Top Academic Senior. She has been a junior volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital and has participated in Salvation Army food drives and cancer/fire victim fund-raisers.
Anna plans to major in biology at CSU, Chico.
Jeffrey Logsdon
Jeffrey Logsdon from Nicolaus, California was on the Principal’s List and the Honor Roll all four years of high school. During his senior year, he was president of the California Scholarship Federation and Future Farmers of America and captain of the 2006 NSCIF Division IV champion football team.
Jeffrey plans to major in mechanical engineering at CSU, Chico.
Kara Lubieniecki
Kara Lubieniecki is from Lakewood, Colorado. She lettered in cross country and track all four years of high school and was captain of the teams her senior year. She received academic letters each year in high school and was in the National Honor Society her junior and senior years. For two summers, she worked as a secretary in a medical office.
Kara plans to explore premed opportunities at CSU, Chico.
Stephanie Maynard
Stephanie Maynard is from Stockton, California. She was editor of her high school’s newspaper and literary magazine and attended national journalism conventions for the last two years. She has been included in the national Who’s Who Among High School Students and received the USAA National Leadership Merit Award as a senior.
Stephanie plans to major in journalism at CSU, Chico.
Shannon Rich
Shannon Rich from Rohnert Park, California participated in cross country and track all four years of high school and was captain of the teams her senior year. She received academic letters each year in high school and was in the National Honor Society her senior year. During summers, she was active in neighborhood child care.
Shannon plans to major in biology at CSU, Chico.
Oya Ross-Walcott
Oya Ross-Walcott is from Chico, California. She served as president and vice president of the high school’s Student Government and was a member of the California Scholarship Federation. She participated in track and field and field hockey, serving as captain of the field hockey team her senior year. She has also been active in community fund-raisers.
Oya is considering a business or engineering field of study at CSU, Chico.
Jennifer Siino
Jennifer Siino from Fair Oaks, California has been active in soccer and field hockey throughout high school, serving as co-captain of the school field hockey team her senior year. She was the founder of the Little Kids at Heart Club and Careers in Education club at high school and worked as a tutor at Score! Educational Center.
Jennifer plans to major in liberal studies at CSU, Chico.
David Waldron
David Waldron is from Marysville, California. He was president of the Small Business Club, treasurer of the Student Council, and a member of the Physics Club in high school. He volunteered at a thrift store and also attended Woodleaf Outdoor School’s “One Earth One People” environmental symposium.
David plans to major in computer engineering or biological sciences at CSU, Chico.
