Lesson 8: Addressing the Learning Needs of Special Education Students

| OVERVIEW |
This lesson introduces the need to provide opportunities for students with special learning needs
the opportunity to engage in service-learning as providers of service. An integrated
academic/service-learning unit written by a teacher candidate is examined as an example of how
students with special needs can engage in an appropriate service-learning experience.
