The Annual Member of the Year Award will be presented according to a specific points system we have set up:

- Attendance to a Psi Chi Meeting (Officer or General)—2pts
- Bringing a Snack to a meeting-2pts
- Bringing a friend to a meeting-1pt
- Attending a social event (attendees must sign in & out)-1pt per hour
- Attending a Community Service Event (attendees must sign in & out)- 2pts per hour
- Serving on a Committee and completing duties as discerned by officer-4pts
- Bringing in a new member- 4pts
- Making announcements for Psi Chi- 1pt per class announced in
- Any act above or beyond your assigned role (as discerned by Psi Chi President)- point value assigned by President

Note: 15 points must be achieved by November 29th Induction Ceremony in order for you to partake in formal induction ceremony IIf you have below 15 pts you will still be inducted at the Induction Ceremony but it will be in an informal fashion.

Member and Officer of the Year:

The Officer with the most points by May 1st, 2007 will receive a large prize and will be recognized for their achievements in front of fellow club members, psychology faculty and psychology majors at the Psi Chi/Senior Brunch

The four members with the top amount of points besides the member of the year will also receive recognition at the Psi Chi/Senior Brunch and get a nice prize for their work.
