Abe Baily still works at CSU, Chico, where he is the marketing director for Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports. Frank Burk still teaches in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at CSU, Chico. Kevin Jeys is a law clerk and writer who lives in Cherokee, California. Kate McCracken (B.S.N., Nursing,’77) received her M.S.W. from CSU, Sacramento. She is a program manager for Butte County Behavioral Health in Chico. Leslie Mahon-Russo (B.S.N., Nursing, ’75) developed the award-winning Young Parent Program at Fair View High School in Chico. She is the program’s director. Dave Murray (B.A., Business Administration, ’71) ran the family business in Stockton for twenty years. He is still active in the efforts to restore Mormon Creek and currently lives in Chico. Sharon Paquin-Gilmore (B.A., English, ’68; M.A., English, ’82) recently retired from teaching in the Department of English at CSU, Chico. She is currently the watershed coordinator for the Battle Creek Watershed Conservancy and lives in Manton. Tom Reed (B.A., Philosophy, ’69; M.A., Sociology, ’78; M.P.A., Public Administration, ’85) is a vocational rehabilitation counselor, a grandfather, and a socialist in Chico. Dan Trevithick (B.A., History,’81) is a campus supervisor at Chico High School and program director for Bidwell Park Junior Golf Association. George Wright, a political science professor at CSU, Chico, is preparing to retire from teaching and looks forward to life in an urban center. He currently lives in Chico. Jack Zeilenga retired at age 62 after twenty-four years of engineering development and management of commercial medical physics devices. He continues to do technical consultation and legal investigations of vehicle accidents and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
