NETTIE GALICH (B.A., Education/
Spelling, Credential, ‘50; M.A., Elementary School Curriculum and Methods, ‘58) retired from the Gridley Unified School District after 51 years of teaching. She plans to do some traveling in Europe and write folklore books.

MARY GRIFFIN (B.A., Education, ‘54) served on the Millbrae City Council for 12 years and as a San Mateo County supervisor for 13 years. She is an active children’s advocate and has been instrumental in organizing several child care programs and projects throughout San Mateo County. She and her husband, Walt, live in Millbrae, California.

JAN LANTERMAN (B.A., Education, ‘61) is the music director for the Napa Valley Chorale. She lives in Napa, California

  ED MASTERSON (B.A., Education, ‘63; M.A., Education, ‘69) was inducted into the Chico Public Education Hall of Fame in March 2001. He was an English, history, and geography teacher for Bidwell Junior High School before joining CSU, Chico in 1967 as the director of Alumni and Parent Relations. Masterson belongs to and has served on the boards of several social service organizations and is currently associate vice president for University Development and Advancement Services at CSU, Chico.

  EDO PELLIZZARI (B.A., Biological Sciences, ‘63) received the Jerome J. Weslowski Award for sustained and outstanding contributions in the field of exposure analysis in October 2000. He received his Ph.D. in analytical biochemistry from Purdue University and joined the Research Triangle Institute in 1971. Pellizzari is founder and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Exposure Analysis and Environ-mental Epidemiology. He has served on National Academy of Sciences committees and is a member of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board.

DAVE BORJON (B.A., Industrial Arts, ‘64; Credential, ‘65) worked for the Kelseyville Unified School District for 36 years. He recently received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his work with the citizens and community of Lake County, California. He was inducted into the CSU, Chico Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991 and into the Liberty Union High School Hall of Fame in 1995. In 1997, Borjon was honored as the Lake County Teacher of the Year. He has two grown children, Mary and Joe, and is the proud grandfather of Hannah and Christopher. He and his wife, Mary, reside in Kelseyville, California.

GENE RUSSELL (B.A., Industrial Arts, ‘64; M.A., Industrial Arts, ‘65) is a retired educator and author of two books about the history of Orland, California, where he lives. He is working on the third book in his series, Orland’s Colorful People.

RICHARD LORENZ (B.S., Agriculture, ‘66) recently retired from Colusa-Glenn Farm Credit, where he worked for 28 years. He has a master’s degree from the University of Oregon. He and his wife, Judy, live in Trinity County, California.

TERRENCE SEIBERLICH (B.S., Marketing, ‘66) serves as president of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, East Bay Chapter. He owns Seiberlich Accountancy Corporation in Walnut Creek, California.

RICHARD CARLSEN (B.S., Business Administration, ‘68) is the regional morale, welfare, and recreation director for the U.S. Navy’s Mid-Atlantic Region in Norfolk, Virginia. He is responsible for overseeing a $60 million operation with more than 1,800 staff providing recreational services to Navy personnel and their families. He received his M.S. in recreation and parks administration from Indiana University in 1973. He can be reached a rcarlsen@nsn.cmar.navy.mil and lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

ROBERT HUFF (B.A., English, ‘68; Credential, ‘69) retired June 30 from his positions school superintendent with the Newcastle Elementary School District in Newcastle, California. He spent 25 years teaching eighth grade before taking the administrative position.

DEXTER WRIGHT (B.S., Business Administration, ‘68) is the executive director of the Tehama Local Development Corporation. He lives in Whiskeytown, California.

ROYCE TEVIS (B.A., Music, ‘69; M.A., Music, ‘79) received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University. He taught music at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, for eight years before joining CSU, Chico as the director of the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble.

1970s

PHIL FERGUSON (B.A., Psychology, ‘70) is a psychologist for the school district in Evanston, Wyoming. He received his doctorate from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1981. He and his wife, Kelly, own Ferguson Energy, Inc., a small independent crude oil producer. They enjoy traveling overseas with their two children.

DEBRA HAWKINS (B.A., English, ‘70) taught English and history for 20 years in Texas before becoming principal for Rocklin High School in Rocklin, California. She and her husband, Larry, have two daughters.

GARY H. HUGHEY (B.S., Business Administration/Accounting, ‘70) was promoted to major general for the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a graduate of the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island, and is stationed at Yakota Air Force Base in Japan.

JEFF HULETT (B.A., Art, ‘70) became a high school art teacher after receiving a credential in secondary education. He creates “altered wheel-thrown stoneware,” which he shows in Chester, California, where he resides.

BILL JEMISON (B.A., Psychology, ‘70) is the district office manager for the Department of Social Services, Adoption Services in Chico. In 1973, he received his master’s degree in social work from the University of Washington in Seattle. He and his wife, Carol, of 32 years have four grown children, Jana, Amy, Greg, and John, as well as one grandchild, Jacob. They live in Chico.

AL DAVENPORT (B.A., Physical Education, ‘73) was inducted into the CSU, Chico Athletic Hall of Fame last October. After graduation, he assumed the position of head football coach for Princeton High School, then later, head football coach at Corcoran High School. He and his wife, Clairen, live in Corcoran, California, and have two grown sons, Dan and Tyler, and two grandsons, Jacob and Seth.

JOHN SMYTHE (B.A., Political Science, ‘73) was recently appointed by President George W. Bush as executive director for the California Farm Services Agency (FSA). He returns to the FSA after holding the position of executive director and regional coordinator from 1989 to 2000.

SANDY PETERS (B.A., Business Education, ‘74) is an instructor for the Regional Occupational Program Business School in Mendocino County. She is an active volunteer for the Literacy Volunteers of America. She and her husband have two sons and reside in Ukiah, California.

GERALD “JERRY” ROSE (B.S., Business Administration/Accounting, ‘74) is the director of employment and social services for Yolo County. Previously he served as the assistant director of social services for Riverside County and chief of financial services for the California Department of Social Services.

TOM AIKEN (B.A., Music, ‘75; M.A., Music, ‘78) is a music teacher for the Kelseyville School District and the director of the Kelseyville High School Jazz Band. He currently resides in Kelseyville, California.

  JAN CHRISTOFFERSON (B.A., Psychology, ‘76) is the new executive officer for Placer County. She received her master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California. She and her two children reside in Meadow Vista, California.

LEE FUNK (B.A., Liberal Studies, ‘76; M.A., Education, ‘83) is the superintendent of the Biggs Unified School District. He earned his Ph.D. in education from the University of San Francisco in 1995.

ERIC ZIEDRICH (B.S., Business Administration/Finance, ‘77) has owned and operated the Healdsburg Lumber Company in Healdsburg, California, for the last 15 years. He also served as a city council member and mayor of Healdsburg and was a member of the local school board.

  GINNY BATEMAN (B.A., Recreation Administration, ‘78) is the director of leisure services for the Oswegoland Park District, a growing suburb of Chicago. 1980s

JOHN MARQUARDT (B.S., Business Administration, ‘80) is the director of software corrections for Fiserv Mortgage Service in South Bend, Indiana. He volunteers for a group that teaches the disabled how to ski downhill and cross-country. He and his family live in South Bend.

DAVID SPAUR (B.A., Geography, ‘80) is the president of the Fresno Economic Development Corporation. He lives in San Luis Obispo, California.

  STEVE WALL (B.A., Psychology, ‘80) is lead guitarist for the Sacramento-based Cajun-country-blues-rock band Beer Dawgs. The band has released seven albums, received six Sacramento Area Music Awards (Sammies), and has been inducted into the Sacramento Music Hall of Fame. Wall has performed the national anthem at Sacramento Kings basketball games and Sacramento River Rats hockey games. He, wife Carol, and sharpei Petunia live in Curtis Park, California. KAREN (KNIGHT) CHAMBERS (B.A., Liberal Studies, ‘81) is a kindergarten teacher at Royal Oaks School in Visalia, California. She received a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in mathematics from Fresno Pacific University. She and her husband, Pete, have two daughters.

JIM BOYD (B.A., Community Services, ‘83) is the director of community relations development for Valley Ridge Home Care and Hospice in Paradise, California.

TOM MILNER (B.A., Community Service/Criminal Justice, ‘83) is a sergeant and watch commander for the Sausalito Police Department. He and his wife have a son, Brayton, and live in Danville, California.

JOSEPH SUN (B.S., Computer Science, ‘83) founded e21corp, a high-tech marketing firm specializing in East-West communications. His Fremont-based company has offices in China, Japan, and Taiwan.

PEGGI BROOKS (B.A., Recreation Administration/Parks and Natural Resources Management, ‘84) took a position with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation as the resource manager for the New Melones Lake facility. She and her husband live in Sonora, California, with their two children.

KEVIN HARTWICK (B.S., Business Administration/Accounting, ‘84) is a certified public accountant and managing partner for the firm of Cholwell, Benz, and Hartwick in Crescent City, California. He is an active member of the Crescent City Rotary club and was named 1999 Business Leader of the Year by the Crescent City/Del Norte County Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the board of the Humboldt Area Foundation.

ANNE MARIE SMITH (B.A., Communication, ‘84) is co-founder of InfoPros, an information technology and staffing agency in Citrus Heights, California. She and her husband, Cliff, live in Citrus Heights.

JOHN ATKINSON (B.S., Computer Science, ‘85) is an animation filmmaker andfree-lance video/gaming contractor. He has been honored with the Silver Award for best animated short film from the Crested Butte Reel Fest, the Grand Festival Award for computer animation from the Berkeley Video and Film Festival, and multiple screenings at various animation festivals of his animated short film Aspire. He currently resides in El Cerrito, California, with his fiancée, Mary.

LINDA LONG (M.A., Psychology, ‘85) is the director of the Disabled Student Programs and Services Department for Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, California. She is a licensed educational psychologist and has served as coordinator of student services for the San Luis Coastal Unified School District.

KELLY MAUCH (B.A., English, ‘85; Credential, ‘86) is the new assistant superintendent for education services in the Chico Unified School District.

JEANETTE (LOWE) STURZEN (B.S., Agriculture, ‘85) is the regional super-visor of Future Farmers of America and 4-H programs for the California Department of Education. She taught agriculture and was the FFA adviser at Hamilton Union High School for 13 years prior to accepting the supervisor position. She received her master’s degree in agriculture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

MARY (FOSTER) WAHL (B.S., Nursing, ‘85) joined the U.S. Air Force as a labor and delivery nurse after graduation and is now stationed in Okinawa, Japan, as a certified nurse-midwife. She completed her master’s degree in midwifery at Georgetown University in 1993. She and her husband, Joe, have two children. They expect to return to the United States next summer.

STU BENNETT (B.S., Business Administration/Finance, ‘86) recently joined Union Safe Deposit Bank as vice president and relationship manager for the Stanislaus Commercial Banking Group in Stockton, California. He received his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nevada, Reno and is currently involved in fund-raising activities for the National Children’s Cancer Society.

DAVID GROW (B.S., Journalism/Public Relations, ‘87) is a music producer for Howling Music and is also a contemporary recording artist. His first album, Well, was released in 1997. He resides in Agoura Hills, California.

JAY MARCHANT (B.A., Physical Education, ‘87) teaches physical education at Murdock Elementary School and is also the boys’ tennis coach for Willows High School in Willows, California.

JEFF MORSE (B.S., Agricultural Business, ‘87) is the general superintendent for Del Webb’s Northern California communities. He resides in Marysville, California.

PEGGY FASHING (B.A., Social Work, ‘88) is a social worker for Butte County Adult Protective Services. She and her husband, Ted, have three grown sons and two grandchildren. The couple resides in Paradise, California.

STEVE MASON (B.A., Recreation Administration, ‘88) is the district manager for the Strawberry Recreation District. He and his wife, Beth, have two children and reside in Petaluma, California.

TROY SHOWERS (B.A., Psychology, ‘89) is the owner of a specialty shoe store in Sacramento, California. He and his wife, Kristi, live in Antelope, California, with their three children.

1990s

JENNIFER BARCELLOS (B.S., Recreation Administration, ‘91) teaches sixth grade at Westside Union Intermediate School in Los Banos, California. She made the move to teaching after working for four years with Los Banos Parks and Recreation as a recreation supervisor. She says she feels that preparing her students for junior high is her major strength. She and her husband, Aaron, live in Los Banos with their son, Alec.

JAY FISHBURN (B.A., History, ‘91) is currently overseas on a peacekeeping tour of the Balkans with the U.S. Army Reserve. He is the head of the second platoon of the 341st Military Police Company stationed in San Jose, California. He is also a teacher, freshman football coach, and pole vault coach at Tracy High School. His wife, LORI (BORDENKIRCHER) FISHBURN (B.A. Liveral Studies, '93), is a teacher at Nile Garden School. They live in Mateca, California, with their two children, Justin and Lane.

GREG ITURRIA (B.A., Public Administration/Criminal Justice, ‘91) is the chief administrator for Mariposa County. He and his wife, Erika, have two daughters. They live in Cathey’s Valley, California.

BRENDA LATHAM (B.S., Biological Sciences, ‘91) is a science instructor at Merced College. She received her Ph.D. in biology from Syracuse University. She and her family live in Los Banos, California.

JANET MARSHALL (B.A., Liberal Studies, ‘91; Credential, ‘92) is a Butte County Fire and Rescue fire prevention specialist for the California Department of Forestry.

STEPHEN MINTZ (B.S., Civil Engineering, ‘91) is a staff engineer for PACE Civil Inc. in Redding, California. He holds licenses in California, Oregon, and Nevada as a civil engineer.

SUSAN PRICE (M.A., Public Administration, ‘91) is the city manager for Red Bluff, California. Previously, she was a member of the Corning City Council and worked for the Community Housing Improvement Program in Chico. She, husband David, and son Nathan reside in Corning, California.

JODY GALLAWAY (B.S., Biological Sciences, ‘92) operates Gallaway Guide Service, a duck-hunting guide service for women. She is also a partner in an environmental consulting business. She and her husband, Matt, live in Chico with their two daughters, Morgan and Jessica.

JENNIFER (FRENCH) MURRAY (B.S., Business Administration, ‘92) is employed as the human resources manager for the Monterey Peninsula Country Club in Pebble Beach, California. She, husband Chris, and daughter Allison reside in Carmel, California.

JOE NELES (B.S., Agricultural Business, ‘92) is part owner of the family-run Johnson-Neles Dairy in Sonoma County, California. He, wife Jeannie, and son Charlie live in Corning, California.

KATHY NUNES (B.A., Social Work, ‘92) is a social worker for Butte County Department of Employment and Social Services, Children’s Services Division.

JONI WEBSTER (B.S., Agricultural Business, ‘92) serves as president of the North Sacramento Valley Chapter of California Women for Agriculture and works for Fenn Farms in Durham, California. She is active in organizing the annual Children’s Farm Fair and the Adopt-A-Legislator program.

LORI (BORDENKIRCHER) FISHBURN (B.A. Liberal Studies, ‘93), is a teacher at Nile Garden School. They live in Manteca, California, with their two children, Justin and Lane.

STEFANIE DUDA (B.S., Recreation Administration, ‘93; M.A., Recreation Administration, ‘00) is the recreation superintendent for the city of Newport, Oregon. Previously, she worked for the Chico Area Recreation and Park District as a recreation supervisor.

MARK EIDMAN (B.S., Agriculture, ‘93) is the manager for the Tehama District Fair. He is also the president of Live Wire Products in Marysville, California. He currently resides in Penn Valley, California.

GARY GREEN (B.S., Microbiology, ‘93) is the owner and manager of two residential care homes for developmentally disabled adults. He and his wife, Cindy, live in Chico with their six children.

JILL HAMPTON (B.A., Physical Education and Exercise Physiology, ‘93; M.A., Physical Education, ‘97) is a massage therapist for F.I.T. fitness center in Los Altos, California.

  ENRICO “RICK” CALLENDER (B.S., Industrial Technology, ‘94) is the current president of the San Jose/Silicon Valley Branch of the NAACP and is also the Santa Clara Valley Water District’s local government relations manager. He served as CSU, Chico A.S. president from 1992 to 1994. This spring he received his master’s degree in public administration from San Jose State University and is a graduate of numerous executive leadership institutes.

DAVID KILLER (B.S., Business Administration, ‘94) is chief operations officer of Synapptix Software in Fremont, California. His wife, AMY (McCLELLAND) KILLER (B.A., Psychology, ‘92), is the director of programs for the psychology-based training and consulting company, Corporate Leverage. The couple is expecting their first child in September. They live in Redwood Shores, California.

TRACY McCORMACK (B.A., Visual Communications, ‘94) is assistant art director of gig and bass player magazines for the Music Player Network in San Mateo, California. She began her career with brief stints at the Chico News & Review and Videomaker magazine before joining BAM Media as the art director. She can be reached at mccormack68@aol.com.

GINA BARLOGIO (B.A., Liberal Arts, ‘95; Credential, ‘97) teaches first grade at Lincoln School in Tulare, California. She has competed in several marathons, including the California International Marathon last December. She resides in Visalia, California.

FRANK GULLUM (B.S., Business Administration, ‘95) is a manager for Sears Point Raceway in Sonoma, California. Previously, he was in charge of sponsorship sales for Millenium Sports Marketing in Sacramento. He and his wife, Linda, live in San Francisco.

ALCIDES REYES (B.S., Agriculture, ‘96) is a surveyor for the Alameda County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office in Alameda, California.

KIM BENBOW (B.A., English, ‘97) is a project editor for The Natural Pharmacist titles at Prima Publishing/Random House in Roseville, California. She won the 2001 Random House Persephone Award for best general fiction at the William Saroyan Writer’s Conference in March 2001.

LEA BERHANE (B.A., Political Science, ‘97) is a recruiting manager for The Affiliates of Oakland, California. She is an active member of the Alameda County Legal Secretaries Association, the San Francisco Paralegal Association, and the Alameda County Bar Association. She lives in Fremont, California.

VICKI DOLL (B.S., Business Administration, ‘97) is a senior consultant for Chabin Concepts, a Chico company that provides business recruitment, marketing, and strategic planning services for various locations. She rejoined Chabin after two and one-half years with the Stanislaus County Economic Development Corporation.

KEITH HAWKINS (B.A., Communication Studies, ‘97) is a motivational speaker and national leadership consultant. He travels across the country speaking to youth organizations and schools about excelling in school and life.

THERESA HUGHES (B.S., Recreation, ‘97) serves as field executive in charge of the Sierra Cascade Council for Girl Scouts U.S.A. She lives in Chico.

JASON LARRABEE (B.A., Geography and Planning, ‘97) is a legislative assistant to Congressman Doug Ose in matters of resources. He and his family live in Butte City, California.

JON TALLENT (B.A., Physical Education, ‘97) teaches biology and physical education at San Antonio High School in Petaluma, California. He is the girls’ varsity soccer coach at Casa Grande High School and the assistant wrestling coach at Kenilworth Junior High School. He resides in Penngrove, California.

MIKE ACEVES (B.S., Agricultural Business, ‘98) is an agricultural inspector biologist for Modoc County, California.

GEORGE LECRENN (B.S., Construction Management, ‘98) owns and operates LeCrenn Realty, a real estate brokerage covering San Diego County. He lives in San Diego, California.

BRETT GOTTLIEB (B.A., Business Administration/Economics, ‘99) is the director of marketing at SMRI, a San Leandro-based direct marketing firm. Before joining SMRI, he was a financial consultant with USI Consulting Group in San Francisco. He currently resides in Alameda, California.

  HONG-SHEN LI (M.A., Music, ‘99) is a singer and music instructor. He attended Juilliard School Opera Center and has per-formed with the San Francisco Opera. He, wife Michelle, and son Alex live in El Dorado Hills, California.

HEIDI TAFF (B.A., Journalism/Public Relations, ‘99) is the public relations manager for the International Association of Business Communicators. Previously, she was employed by Text 100 International Public Relations and Niehaus Ryan Wong Public Relations.

HOLLY CARPENTER (B.F.A., Art, ‘00) is an artist whose untitled painting was recently displayed as part of the Chico Open Board Art project. She plans on pursuing a graduate degree to become an art instructor.

DANIEL FERRERE, SR. (M.S., Business Administration, ‘00) has accepted the position of plant controller for GAF Materials Corporation in Michigan City, Indiana. Previously, he was plant controller for Pactiv Corporation in Red Bluff, California.

LAUREN MERRIMAN (B.S., Recreation Administration, ‘00) works as a recreation program coordinator in Saratoga, California. She previously worked for recreation departments in Mountain View, Santa Clara, and Austin, Texas. She lives in San Jose, California.

ROBIN MARYKAY GEORGIOU (B.A., Journalism, ‘86) exchanged vows with Steven Crawford in El Cerrito, California, on October 20, 2000. She works for Anderson Claims Service as an account representative, and he is a Web master for a global communications company. They reside in El Cerrito, California.

JOHN MARK KERN (B.S., Business Administration, ‘87) married April Lynn Gibson in Saratoga, California, on September 17, 2000. He is employed by Cisco Systems as the information technology manager for e-learning. She is in the credential program at San Jose State University. The couple lives in Santa Clara, California.

JEFFREY HANNAH (B.A., Speech/Drama, ‘88) and Jane Walters were married January 6. He is employed by Sprint Communications, and she is office manager for a hydraulics company. They reside in Romeoville, Illinois.

HOWARD HAYES (B.A., Communications, ‘89) was joined in marriage with Rita Rusnak on May 26 in Maui, Hawaii. He is a sales manager for a network communications company, and she is a sales manager in the semiconductor industry. They live in San Jose, California.

MELANIE LEONARD (B.S., Physical Education, ‘92) and Wayne Syn exchanged vows on March 31. She is employed by Dr. Steve Crowson, and he practices dentistry in Orland, California.

BENJAMIN CHAMBERS (B.S., Agricultural Business, ‘93) married Marnie Marie Sey in Applegate, Oregon, on December 23, 2000. He is a farmer, and she is a cosmetologist. The couple resides in Durham, California.

SCOTT DYER (B.A., Political Science/ International Relations, ‘94) exchanged vows with Elizabeth Nugent Monohan in Louisville, Kentucky, on September 23, 2000. He is a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and is entering the University of Louisville School of Law. The couple lives in Louisville, Kentucky.

JAMES PANTOJA (B.A., Political Science, ‘94) and Cassandra Ganzer were married September 3, 2000, in Chico. He is a teacher at Plasencia Elementary School in Los Angeles, and she is a computer operator at Pasadena Federal Credit Union. The couple lives in Pasadena, California.

JOSHUA LINDSEY (B.A., Geography and Planning, ‘95; Credential, ‘99) married KERRI MCINTYRE (B.A., Religious Studies/English, '99) April 21. He is a sixth-grade teacher at Sequoia Elementary School in Manteca, California. She is an English teacher at Mark Twain Junior High School in Modesto, California.

WALTER LOHSE (B.S., Agriculture, ‘95) and Claudia Fricke exchanged vows May 1 in Kauai, Hawaii. He works for Northern California Farm Credit, and she is owner and a stylist for Mecca Salon. The couple lives in Chico.

TREVOR THOMAS (B.S., Construction Management, ‘95) and Tami Smith were married September 16, 2000, at T.J. Farms in Chico. He is a project manager for Thompson Pacific, and she is a grant proposal writer for Petaluma Health Center. They reside in Rohnert Park, California.

SHELLEY WAY (B.A., Economics, ‘95) married Anthony Berto October 1, 2000, in Sedona, Arizona. She works for the State Farm Regional Center in Tempe, Arizona, and he is employed by Land Rover of Scottsdale. They live in Phoenix.

DENISE GRAHLMAN (B.A., Liberal Studies, ‘96) married TODD TRISCH (B.S., Business Administration, ‘96) on June 18, 2000. She is employed by the Dixon Unified School District. He works for MCI Worldcom. The couple lives in Davis, California.

KAREN HARKEMA (B.S., Business Administration, ‘96) exchanged vows with Joseph Sur on January 27. She is employed by United Health Care, and he is employed by Baco Realty. The couple resides in Chico.

KELLY SHIELDS (B.A., Liberal Studies, ‘96) and Ted Haight were joined in marriage on September 2, 2000. She teaches at Chapman Elementary School. He is studying geography at CSU, Chico and is employed as a bartender. They live in Chico.

RACHEL PETERSEN (B.S., Agricultural Business, ‘97) married Scott Larabee in Tahoe, California, on July 22, 2000. She works for Northern California Farm Credit as an accounting specialist. He is employed by Larabee Farms. They reside in Butte City, California.

DON BUNCH II (B.A., Psychology, ‘98) married Deana Harrington on October 7, 2000, in Palos Verdes, California, where they live. He is a manager and scuba instructor at Pacific Wilderness in San Pedro. She is a third-grade teacher at Rancho Vista Elementary School.

BRIAN GROSS (B.S., Manufacturing Technology, ‘98) married NIKKI HECKART (B.S., Nutrition and Food Sciences, ‘98) September 24 in Oakland, California. He is a jeweler, and she is a quality control technician for Sutter Home Winery. They reside in Napa, California.

THOMAS LATA (B.S., Nursing, ‘98) married SHANNON OKURA (B.S., Nursing, ‘98), on June 30, 2000. They are each pursuing master’s degrees in nursing from the University of California, San Francisco. They are both employed by the University of California, Davis Medical Center and reside in Sacramento, California.

KERRI MCINTYRE (B.A., Religious Studies/English, ‘99) April 21. He is a sixth-grade teacher at Sequoia Elementary School in Manteca, California. She is an English teacher at Mark Twain Junior High School in Modesto, California.

ELIZABETH ANNE GILBERT (B.S., Agricultural Business, ‘99) married Erik Joseph Cotton on June 10. She is the human resources director for A.L. Gilbert. He works for Alegre Cabinets. They live in Oakdale, California.
