Alum Wins 2008 Emmy

Communication Design alum KYLE WHEELER (BA, Communication Design, ’05) took a trip down the red carpet this September to claim a 2008 Creative Arts Emmy with the Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch cinematography team. The team won the honor for Cinematography in Nonfiction Programming. Wheeler, producer and director of photography for the program’s second, third, and fourth seasons, says the training he received at CSU, Chico paved the way to his success: “This award is as much the Communication Design department’s as it is mine—congrats!”
