Years Young
David Young remembers a time when there were no strangers among
the student body at Chico State Teacher’s College. Young graduated
in 1932 with a bachelor’s degree in education, received his
teaching credential in 1936, and taught for three years before deciding
on a career change. In October, he returned to CSU, Chico to reminisce
and take part in the time capsule opening during the 2002 Homecoming
ceremonies.
