WILLARD TURNER (B.A., Business,53) retired in 1986 after thirty-three years as a sales representative in the Northwest for a large shoe company. He has been married for forty-two years and has two grown children. He lives in Portland and enjoys many hobbies and traveling in his motorhome. Turner writes, I enjoyed Chico Statements. In Wildcats on the Move, I did not see any alumni from the 50s, so I want to keep in touch. I especially enjoyed the story on Dr. Glenn Kendall [From Kentucky Principal to California President, fall 1997]...he was president when I was at Chico. I also enjoyed the story on Chico Normal School [The President Who Saved the College, fall 1997] my mother, Evelyn Callaway graduated from Chico Normal in 1918. |
