Ten new board members were elected in June 1998 and three more were elected in October 1998. Alumni and Parent Relations Director Jack Fox, who took over the director's post March 19, 1998, said one of his first priorities as director was to add new members to the board. He said the new board members reflect an eagerness on the part of CSU, Chico alumni to strengthen the association, increase activities within the chapters, add an international travel program, revive the tradition of Homecoming, and bring more alumni in touch with their alma mater.
