Over $3 million in federal and state grants provided for mentor teachers and scholarships. The Environmental Resource Program, established in 1998, coordinates university projects in the environmental and natural resources areas and has approximately $2 million in grants and contracts that provide faculty, staff, and students from agriculture, geography and planning, natural sciences, and engineering with research experiences.
