Each of these students received an award at the University
Awards Reception on April 23, 2003, for his or her achievements
and contributions to student life. Bottom row, left to right:
Joe Bishop, senior, received the College of Communication
and Education Outstanding Student Award (OSA); Dalia Escalante,
senior, received the College of Business OSA; Eleni Theodorou,
graduating senior, received the School of Graduate, International,
and Sponsored Programs OSA. Middle row: Julie Scaife, graduating
senior, received the Glenn Kendall Public Service Award; Nicholas
King, graduating senior, music, received the Chris Hilbert
Outstanding Chico State Friend Award. Top row: Juan Sanchez,
undergraduate in graphic design, received the Bud Hanna Scholar
Athlete Award; Monica Chesini, undergraduate in communication
studies, received the Outstanding Service to Student Government
Award; Julie Jacobson, liberal studies, received the President’s
Award for graduating senior with the highest grade point average.
