  • CSU, Chico is one of 18 CSU campuses among the top 100 colleges and universities in the country that conferred the most bachelor’s degrees upon Hispanics, according to the latest figures from the National Center for Education Statistics. The top 100 list is published each year in Hispanic Outlook In Higher Education.
  • Ninety-seven percent of graduating seniors in 2004 said they were satisfied or completely satisfied with CSU, Chico as a whole, while 96 percent said they were satisfied or completely satisfied with the value of their education.

California State University, Chico, founded in 1887, is a residential campus located in Northern California. With Little Chico Creek winding through the center of campus, CSU, Chico is known for its beauty. One measure of the quality of a university is the opinion recent graduates have of their alma mater. In the most recent Spring Graduate Survey, 97 percent of baccalaureate graduates reported they were satisfied with the value of their education at CSU, Chico, and 98 percent indicated they were satisfied with CSU, Chico as a whole.
