Engineering and Physics) is the chief technology officer for 4D Technology Corporation, which he launched in 2000. 4D develops state-of-the-art optical instrumentation. Author of more than 30 publications and holder of four U.S. patents, Millerd was recognized by NASA for his development of a laser Doppler vibrometer.
