Earth Day Fair

As part of Earth Month activities, the Associated Students Environmental Affairs Council sponsored Earth Information Day in the Free Speech Area on April 22. Several booths and informational tables presented displays that promoted environmental awareness.
In the photo above, Jason Novak of Unified Biofuel Caravan, left, discussed vegetable oil-based fuel with Matt Bauer, a senior majoring in mechatronics. Among those participating in the fair were A.S. Recycling, A.S. Women’s Center, Butte Environmental Council, Butte Humane Society, and a local alternative energy system company, Evergreen Development.
