A Concrete Proposal
A new major in Concrete Industry Management (CIM) is being proposed
by the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction
Management (ECC). It is the result of a partnership between the concrete
industry and CSU, Chico, which will offer students a unique blend
of technical and management preparation in a new discipline and will
help to meet this industry’s employment demands.

Founders Week
Founders Week, the yearly celebration of CSU, Chico’s heritage
and achievements, marks its 13th anniversary April 15–23 with
music and dance, campus tours, award ceremonies, environmental awareness
events, and special panel discussions about the arts and athletics.

Troy
Jollimore Receives Stanford Humanities Fellowship
Troy Jollimore, Philosophy, received a coveted Stanford Humanities
Center residential fellowship. He and as many as 30 other fellows
will meet regularly in formal and informal sessions while pursuing
their individual study, research, and writing. Jollimore is currently
working on a manuscript concerning loyalty.
