Susan Place Named DeanSusan Place has been named dean of the School of Graduate, International, and Interdisciplinary Studies. She has been interim dean since 2004. “Susan brings a depth of experience and knowledge to the position, as well passion, commitment and energy to the programs for which she is responsible,” said Scott McNall, provost and vice president for academic affairs.
Place is former chair of the Department of Geography and Planning. She
has held a number of other administrative positions on campus, including
coordinator of Latin American Studies, director of International Programs
and, most recently, director of the Multicultural and Gender Studies
Program.
